Part of not being super outdoorsy for me is being afraid of things. For this upcoming trip the one of the biggest obstacles for me is the road to Florence Lake. So, I am pretending to be brave .

Our lake contains nearly 2,100 surface acres of water surrounded by 15 miles of granite covered shoreline. We are also the entrance to six major mountain lakes including Huntington, Florence, Wishon, Courtwright, Edison and of course, Shaver Lake. Our new welcome sign on Highway 168.
